History

Pro-Engineering ltd - company specialized in designing, construction, reconstruction and repairing bridges, culverts and other civil engineering structures.

The company was founded on January 18, 1990 by a group of experienced civil engineers who left reputed state owned traffic institute and transfered the knowledge and experience to the private construction enterprising, which was fighting its way on the market at the time.

Since the very beginning, the company has been developing through projects in the field of designing, technical supervision, and expertise of steel bridges on railway.

Execution of work on building the new bridges and culverts, and reconstruction and repairing existing bridges and culverts,is the second step in company development.


Field of activities

At present time, Pro-Engineering ltd offers service in inspection, design and executing of work in field of railway and road bridges and culverts:

• regular, detail, special and urgent inspections of road bridges and updating of the road bridge database due to those inspections,
• condition state and capacity check expertises of the road bridges for conducting special transport on state roads,
• execution of work on reconstruction and repairing bridges and culverts on railways and roads,
• execution of work on replacing existing ageing and damaged bridges and culverts with special attention to maintain traffic during execution of works,
• all stages in design of the new bridges and culverts - preliminary, main, detail and workshop design,
• all stages in rehabilitation design of the existing bridges and culverts - preliminary,main,detail and workshop design,
• technical supervision of all design stages (preliminary, main, detail and workshop design), expertise, condition state reports etc…

Fulfillment of legal terms in specified field of work is accomplished with:

• adequate number of civil engineers with licences 310 and 410, issued by Serbian Chamber of Engineers,
• licence for structural design of road structures (bridges) P132G1 and licence for structural design of railroad infrastructure P142G1 issued by the ministry competent for civil engineering and building construction,
• licence for execution of works on road structures (bridges) I132G1 and licence for execution of works on railroad infrastructure I142G1 issued by the ministry competent for civil engineering and building construction,
• certificate SRPS ISO 9001:2015 for quality management system.

Except of civil engineers, in our company, we have other employers with following profiles:

• high qualified certified welders,
• high qualified locksmiths and steel erectors,
• riveters

Specialty

• regular, detail, special and urgent inspections of road bridges,
• updating of the road bridge database,

• making of technical documentation, with all necessary investigation works on site, for existing bridges on roads and railway, with unknown capacity and stability and without technical documentation,
• condition state reports with all necessary measures of urgent repair works, of existing bridges and culverts on road and railway infrastructure,
• categorization of bridges and culverts on road and railway infrastructure, due to their capacity,
• making of rehabilitation design for existing damaged bridges,
• execution of works on reconstruction and repairing bridges with rivets - for a long time, our company is the only one in Serbia which has two operational riveting teams. These teams are trained for work in all conditions (especially without traffic closure) with all necessary equipment and tools with daily effect of 450 built-in rivets including all preparation works.
